It was a very busy/fun week for us! First off, Michael didn't go to Fayetteville any last week. He was able to do his research from home last week. And I LOVED having him home!!!
THURSDAY: He washed/waxed his sea doo. He loves his sea doo.
FRIDAY: Roger was off from work. My folks came up and we grilled burgers/hot dogs and made home made ice cream. My dad loves home made ice cream. Michael had to work..and it was a hot/busy day at the boat dock, so he cooled down in the pool when he got home.
SATURDAY: Roger and I went with two other couples to Lampe, MO-beside Branson to an outdoor concert. It was a "blast from the past". We went to see Styx, Foreigner, and Kansas. Talk about a past from the 1980's...what a fun fun fun time we had. We really enjoyed ourselves. Michael took care of Jacob and they went to the Flippin fireworks show and then to spend the night with some friends.
This is the outdoor area. It was nice. This is Kansas playing. They didn't play long.
This is Foreigner playing and man what a show they put on! It was O-Mazing.
This is Styx playing. They did a good job.
Me and Rog enjoying some adult time and the concert. Foreigner was our favorite!
SUNDAY: We usually spend the whole day on the lake...grilling, swimming, then heading out to the dam to watch the fireworks. It was about 5:30 before we made it out to the lake- we didn't do much swimming and no grilling. Too tired from our night last night.
Hannah and Jacob on the boat before the fireworks show. Michael was on a different boat with all his friends.
MONDAY: Roger didn't have to work today. (Michael did-and they were BUSY). Me, Rog, and Jacob went out on the lake for the day and spent it with friends. Beautiful day.
Jacob has started asking to drive the boat more and more. He does a very good job. He has been raised on the lake, so we wouldn't expect anything different.
Ah, what a great day to end a 4 day weekend.....it was great! :)
